Hii friends,
The samsung Galaxy J7 (2015), is amazing, It runs on 5.1 Lolipop Android Version, and it has 1.5 GB RAM.
After the update in may 2016, it get upgraded from android 5.1 to android 6.0(marshmallow). it is pretty good, but many
of the peoples dislike it, because it takes more memory, alot of RAM, and also drain battery very fast and also it get
started hand also.
now you thing to go to samsung service centre. but, if you go the service centre, they will never help you to
downgrade/reverese your software from android 6.0 to android 5.1 again. beacause company only gives updrage to
customers, not downgrade/reverse.
Now, I am here to help you. there are some steps you have to do it carefully.
the steps are easy to do. only be careful with the files, no rocket science is there.
now read the steps below.
THERE ARE 2 PARTS OF STEPS
IN PART 1, there is given, how to backup your data, if you know how to backup, then no need to read PART 1. directly
go to PART 2 by scorll down.
--->PART 1<---
to back up your contacts follow this.
->STEP 1 :- go to
contacs>more>settings>import/export contacts>export contacts>(select where you want to save your
contacts
->STEP 2 :- if you export your contacts in sim card, then no problem. if you export in device memory or SD card,
then copy the contacts.vcf file in your pc.
--->PART 2<---
->STEP 1 :- Download official android 5.1 lolipop for galaxy J7 from below and unzip it
->STEP 2 :- Download the latest version of ODIN from below and unzip it.
->STEP 3 :- run the ODIN file on you Pc.
->STEP 4 :- now power off your galaxy J7 and remove battery and after 10 seconds insert it.
->STEP 5 :- now you have to go into the "DOWNLOAD MODE" by pressing and hold "POWER+HOME+VOL DOWN" buttons
->STEP 6 :- once you enter in to "DOWNLOAD MODE", you see ID:COM port turned blue and added message in ODIN
message box means your device has recognised by ODIN.
--->NOTE :- If ID:COM doesn't show means your driver is not correctly installed or try it with diffrent USB Cable.
->STEP 7 :- Now locate and add the firmware ".tar" file (you have to download the file from bellow) to AP/PDA tab
in ODIN.
->STEP 8 :- Make sure that only these 2 options are tick "AUTO REEBOOT" and "F.RESET TIME." (make sure "Re-Partition" is not ticked)
->STEP 9 :- now Click 'Start' button and it will start flashing the file. it will take some minutes, wait untill you
see "PASS" in green colour on ODIN screen.
--> NOTE :- (When you started to flash and your device is connected tpo your PC, be carefull about that the USB Cable
not get shaked or distured.
->STEP 10:- all completed, done.
IMPORTANT NOTE PLEASE READ IT :- NOW ON YOUR DEVICE AND WAIT FOR 10 MINUTES, IF IT ONLY SHOWS THE SAMSUNG LOGO AND DOES NOT GET START, THEN
FOLLOW THESE STEPS
->STEP 1:- remove your battery and insert it again after 5 seconds.
->STEP 2:- press and hold "VOLUME UP+HOME+POWER" buttons and you will get a menu is named ANDROID SYSTEM RECOVERY
->STEP 3:- Now by the VOLUME DOWN button go to the "WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET" and just press POWER button to OK it.
-->NOTE :- If by pressing the POWER button does not get YES/OK, then try "VOLUME UP" button
->STEP 4:- now by pressing the volume down button go to "YES-DELETE ALL USER DATA". and press POWER button to OK.
->STEP 5:- after done, restart your device. and wait 5 minutes.
->STEP 6:- your device get started succesfully.
CONGRATULATION!!!!!, YOU HAVE SUCCESFULLY DOWNGRADED YOUR GALAXY J7 FROM ANDROID MARSHMALLOW(6.0) TO
LOLIPOP(5.1). 😊😊
